Internet site

First opened June 1st, 2005, the farmers' market has attracted many visitors to date.
Dedicated to the sale of local products from the Val-Saint-François region of the Eastern Townships, many different types of produce and products are available.
This region, rich in agricultural diversity, offers a variety of meats, fruits, vegetables, imported fish and cheeses. The cheeses are collected throughout Quebec.

The Township became involved namely :

- to encourage the population to pay particular attention to personal health and welfare through healthy eating;
- to encourage the area's smaller producers and to give them a venue to sell their produce;
- to enable a direct link between farmers and consumers, from farm-gate to table.

This market is a venue for the exchange of information and offers a different atmosphere than that of a conventional grocery store.
